RELEASE NOTES
Release: GMC Build 70
Release Date: 3 September 2021
New Features:
ThreatBlockr Subscription Management
Users can now control the assignment of subscriptions to their ThreatBlockrs. To view and manage subscriptions, select Subscriptions from the left-hand navigation. Your company’s ThreatBlockr subscriptions will display on the left-hand side of the screen and your ThreatBlockr Assets will display on the right-hand side.
Subscriptions that are assigned to a ThreatBlockr will be greyed out and will display the Asset Name the subscription is assigned to. (To simplify subscription management, if you haven’t already taken the time to name your ThreatBlockr’s, now would be a great time to do so in the Assets menu!) A subscription that is not assigned will be active with a green highlight:
Assets with an assigned ThreatBlockr subscription will display a “Supported” tag in the top-right hand corner of the card. Assets without a ThreatBlockr subscription will display a “No Support” description in the top-right corner.
To assign a subscription to a ThreatBlockr, select the subscription card and drag it to the desired Asset and then select the Save button in the top-right corner:
To remove a subscription from an Asset, select the blue “-” button in the bottom-right corner of the Asset and then select the Save button in the top-right corner:
Some legacy customers may have older ThreatBlockr hardware that may have supported more than one bridging pair. For those ThreatBlockrs, two subscription slots will be shown as being available for assignment, since each bridge pair passing data is required to have a valid subscription.
IMPORTANT NOTE: An Asset that does not have a subscription assigned to it will not block or log any traffic. A user can make more than one subscription assignment and/or removal before clicking the Save button. Changes will go into effect only once Save is selected. This ensures that there are no gaps in coverage for any ThreatBlockr’s whose subscriptions have been moved around until you click Save.
