Marketplace Frequently Asked Questions

threatER's Cyber Intelligence Marketplace provides customers with greater access to additional cyber intelligence sources. The Marketplace includes a mix of premium and free cyber intelligence data sources. Step-by-step instructions on adding threat intelligence in Marketplace are available on our support site.

The following are some of the common questions we have heard from customers with answers provided by our product team:

Q: Do I have the ability to try out a data source?

A: Yes! All premium feeds available in Marketplace allow customers to initiate a free seven-day trial. At the end of the seven-day period, the trial will automatically convert into a subscription aligning with your threatER Enforce subscription dates. 

Q: Once I purchase the feed, how long does it take to get access to the feed to begin using the intelligence to block traffic?

A:  When you purchase a premium subscription feed from Marketplace or activate a free feed, the feed is made immediately available to you. Simply follow the instructions upon confirmation to view and enable your feed on the Threat, Block, or Allow List pages. Note that when purchasing a Proofpoint subscription the Threat list will be added immediately and you will receive an email shortly thereafter with an API key and instructions on how to add and enable the Proofpoint Domain Block List.

Q: Will there be more data sources added in the future?

A:  Yes! threatER is always working to increase the volume of threat intelligence available on our platform. We expect to be adding additional sources to include both premium and free cyber intelligence on an ongoing basis.

Q: I purchased a feed but don't see the feed in my Block List, how can I get help?

A:  If you are having a problem locating the feeds in your Threat, Block, or Allow Lists please reach out to our customer support team at support@threater.com. We will be delighted to help you with this or any other questions you may have.
